We welcome a new class of students to Berklee College of Music three times a year: fall, spring, and summer. You will note the term you are applying for in your online application form. Important deadlines and dates for each start term are listed below.

Fall (September) Enrollment Deadlines
There are three timelines for the fall term: summer program participants only, early action, and regular action
Summer Program Participants
Summer Program participants have the opportunity to audition early for Berklee College of Music degree programs. The online application for fall admission becomes available on July 1. You must submit your application in order to schedule an audition during the summer. See our Audition and Interview webpage for more details.

- Auditions take place: July–August
- Deadline to submit supporting documents (transcripts, TOEFL, etc.): September 15
- Admissions decisions issued by: October 15
- Deadline to submit tuition deposit for fall enrollment: May 1
- Classes start: September
Early Action Deadlines
Early action allows undergraduate applicants to apply, audition and interview, and be notified of an admissions decision and financial award on an accelerated schedule, while still having until May 1 to submit a tuition deposit. Applying early action is ideal for students who consider Berklee College of Music one of their top-choice schools.

- Deadline to submit the FAFSA: November 1
- Auditions take place: August through mid-January
- Admissions decisions issued by: January 31
- Deadline to submit tuition deposit for fall enrollment: May 1
- Classes start: September
Regular Action Deadlines
Regular action is available to both undergraduate and graduate applicants. Regular action refers to the college’s standard timeline for receiving applications and issuing decision notifications.
